Longdistance 7km (Updates November 2019)
The 7 km Backwaterman has been the most traditional long-distance race in Austria for 13 years. The unique fjord-landscape in the reservoir Ottenstein offers the open water swimmers a pure nature experience. The reservoir is accessible only in a few places and therefore invites you to discover by boat, canoe and SUP. Especially the arrival with the MS Ottenstein is the starting point at Mitterreith.

The remaining participants are transported by bus or car.
