The new route leads from the bathing meadow Deckerspitz to the Camping Ottensteien and back again.
The unique fjord landscape in the Ottenstein reservoir offers open water swimmers a pure natural experience.
The reservoir is only accessible in a few places and is therefore ideal for exploring by boat, canoe and SUP.
Attention: In 2025 we will offer 40 starting places .
"Buoys are mandatory. Unofficially, after the first 1.5 km loop, swimmers may be accompanied by kayaks or canoes at their own risk. If needed, kayaks or canoes can be rented at Seecamping Ottenstein."

7:30 AM Start: Mass start, participants will be briefly introduced
Mandatory: Buoy requirement
Attention: Turnaround at the boat bay near Schloss Ottenstein, where each participant must check in. There will also be a refreshment station. Personal supplies can be dropped off at the
start.
Cut off at the turnaround point (7 km): 10:45 AM (3 hours 15 minutes)
Finish Line: 13:30
Award Ceremony: Everyone is a winner and will receive a trophy at the award ceremony.
Class winners will be honored accordingly.
Course Refreshments: At Teufelsfelsen around km 3.5, at the turnaround point at km 7.0, and at Teufelsfelsen again at km 11.5.
